Battlefield 2142 was the fourth true Battlefield game in the franchise and followed 2005's Battlefield 2. What made this game so unique still to this day was the setting, this was and still is the only futuristic time set Battlefield which made for a unique experience. Instead of driving ground bound tanks player were handling mechanical suites and space ships!
